Alone in the dark he sits,
Waiting;
Waiting for his next victim,
For their blood;
The sweet necter of life,
Not only for the humans who make it, but also for the vampire who drinks it;
He sits waiting,
Until a young girl of around 17 or 18 comes along down the road;
Perfect the vampire thought,
Her blood smells sweet for she must be a virgin;
He was serious for a virgin,
For they are so hard to come by at this tender young age;
He waits until she stops right near his hiding place to catch her breath,
Her last breath;
When he suddenly jumps out to grab her,
He stops;
She cowers beneath this monster,
I can't take her blood or her life, he thought;
He had noticed her beauty,
An almost perfect beauty;
He takes her hand and whispers in a sweet voice, Do not be afraid,
She looks up at him and is instantly under his "spell";
It was love at first sight for the both of them,
But the vampire was afraid to love;
His previous loves had always been killed and this young girl was no exception,
For that very moment a thief was running by from a bank down the road;
Being as cold hearted as he was, he shot the young girl,
The vampire was, of course, furious with him and killed him instantly;
He returned to his home alone once more,
Am I always to be lonley, he asked no one in particular;
I tell you this story out of sympathy for that next morning in desperation,
The vampire killed himself by stepping into the morning sun;
He was no more than a lonley vampire,
And that saddens me;
No vampire should be lonley,
Whether you believe in them or not though, my friend, is up to you.

This poem was made up on the spot, but I have many others and will continue writing more because I plan on becoming an auther somday. Any critisism you may have, I will accept as long as it is not rude. Comments are also accepted. And I will also do requests. Wow that was very interesting. I'm not much of a poetry writer, but I do know good writing when I read it. I will give advise though. Sure the best writing comes in the moment, but it takes steps to perfect it...

I would just like to point out that I banned sephnacat, on the grounds of her being bloody bonkers (she was convinced that she was actually a vampire >.<) so I am pretty sure that anything you say to her will go unheard.
